Our Products
Over the years we have developed many software products
for many different clients in diverse areas of industry.
The majority of these have been highly specialised
bespoke programs. Some examples include retail analysis software, a parcel tracking
system for an international courier, a tailored call centre management program, specialised
accountancy software, a data analysis system to measure railtrack
variances (!) and so on... Rather than having to continually rely on
the next contract in order to sucure the future of Pioneer Software, in
the year 2000 we decided to start developing our own software suite for
Healthcare Clinics - an area in which we have a lot of experience.
A History of
ClinicOffice

In 2001 we released ChiroOffice - clinic management
software for UK Chiropractors. So successful was the release of
this software that we soon had requests coming in from
Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Podiatrists and numerous other
professions all asking if we could provide some sort of Clinic
Management software for their professions too.
Hence, later that year we released OsteoOffice and
PodiatryOffice but it soon became apparent that it was going to be
impractical to keep releasing different software packages for each and
every healthcare profession! |

And so in 2002 we released version 1 of ClinicOffice
which was much more customisable than the original ChiroOffice
and could easily be adapted to suit any healthcare clinic. |

2003 saw the release of ClinicOffice
XP
(essentially version 2 of ClinicOffice). ClinicOffice XP
is still widely used today by many clinics who really like it's
simple and clean "Windows XP-style" user interface. |

However, one of the biggest requests we had was for the program
interface to be even more flexible and customisable and for the program
to run over the internet. And so ClinicOffice
2005 was released in... 2005(!)
The interface was much more flexible with the possibility of unlimited
user-defined fields. A number of new features were put in to the
program, including a new database engine which could run over the
internet.

CO2005 introduced a lot of excellent new features, but one
criticism was that the user interface could sometimes get a bit
complicated. Another area we had to address was performance.
Some clients had now been using ClinicOffice for years and their
databases were getting very large which was starting to impact
performance.
And so in April 2008,
ClinicOffice v4 was released with a much more powerful
database engine and a brand new 'Microsoft Ribbon Bar interface'
to address these issues.
COv4 also includes many other enhancements over it's
predecessors and is undoubtedly the most revolutionary release
to date!
